My wife planned a trip to Oahu and through the Hotel ( Trump Hotel ) we were staying at she contracted Blue Hawaii Photo Tours for a 2 day photo tour (an all day and a sunset tour). I am a photography enthusiast and was super excited about Hawaii and the photo tours, wasn't sure what to expect really. Here are the highlights of the tour:
1) Marie and Evan were super friendly and made the tour much more enjoyable
2) The tour is carefully planned for the best locations and lighting possible, so no matter what you are not getting a bad shot. Trust me.
3) The transportation was first class
4) Marie and Evan were super accommodating to my preferences and shooting style
5) I not only took some fantastic pictures, but I also learned many new tricks. Every step of the way they were leading the way for best spots, composition and camera settings
In the end I am super grateful my wife found them and I would do this again a million times, super worth it. Don't miss the opportunity.

"Great way to spend the day!!”
I found Marie during my first visit to Hawaii when I did the Sunset Tour. This time I was fortunate to be able to do a Private Tour for the full day with my wife and daughter. The tour is listed as a photo tour but it is so much more. The tour feels like you have a friend on the island showing you around to different places of interest and giving you an amazing amount of information about the island. You don't have to be a photographer to enjoy this tour. My wife's photography interest and skills are limited to what she can take with her iPhone. Marie's knowledge of photography includes how to get the most out of your iPhone photos. We gave our five year old daughter a point and shoot camera to use on the tour and she had a great time shooting pictures. I had my DSLR and Marie helped me work through my settings and helped with post production ideas. There is something for everyone on the trip and Marie was adaptable to show us places we wanted to see.

This tour is more than taking some photos, you actually learn about the history of Hawaii too. Which gives meaning to your photos. I did learn some great tips which helped to improve my photography but the easy nature of the tours made it an enjoyable experience. From water to bug spray, tripods, everything has been thought out. I booked the sunrise tour and enjoyed it so much, I then booked the sunset tour too. Highly recommend and book with confidence. Mahalo Marie & Evan
